WordPress is a content management system (CMS) that allows you to host and build websites. WordPress contains, so you can customize any website to fit your business, blog, portfolio, or online store.
Get started by registering your account with Wordpress.
Choose a domain for one’s new WordPress site.
One will be taken to their dashboard.
Click on Appearance then Themes and select a Theme of one’s choice.
After selecting a theme, activate it by clicking Activate this design.
Click on Edit site to start editing.
One’s new site will look like this after deleting the default content. One can delete content by clicking a certain section and pressing backspace or delete on one’s keyboard. Alternatively, one can delete sections by clicking on the dots of a particular section and pressing remove group or template. Click on the plus icon (+) to start adding blocks.
One can add content by using either Blocks or Patterns. I used Patterns for already made designs. After one finds the pattern they prefer, select it for it to be added.
To edit the content, click on it and WordPress will give one various options one can add to the particular part of the pattern or block.
Alternatively, one can add content by clicking the blue plus icon (+) below the pattern or block. Edit the site to one’s liking.
After editing the site, save it and the site will automatically.
